Kevin, are you saying the US is saving the Iraqis from terrorists? If the news told you that, they lied to a far greater extent than even Bush did. Bush said we were saving the Iraqis from Saddam, their president, who the US long supported in spite of his maniacal tyranny. Then he lied further by tying Saddam to 9/11. But I don’t think he ever tried to get us to buy the notion that our soldiers are dying to save the Iraqis from terrorism. That’s all the more reason to call them home. That would be like trying to save Americans from baseball.
